I found the Nail Affair on Instagram and I'm so glad I did. Stopped in yesterday around 12 and made an appointment for 3:15. I had layers and layers of chunky acrylic and gel polish on my nails after sloppy nail techs gave me what I like to call jelly bean nails. I have short nail beds and I had yet to find anyone who would listen when i asked for thin acrylic with a tapered tip. We soaked my nails in acetone and I chatted with the girls who work here (all such sweet hearts), then Tabitha talked me through applying a fresh set of acrylic versus hard gel. I had thought I wanted the natural look of gel but given the shape of my nails Tabitha suggested a pink acrylic for the same affect. I trusted her judgement and I am not disappointed. She used a tool to pinch the tips of my nails to exactly the shape I had in mind. I also got a dreamy pedicure while I was here and left feeling pampered and refreshed. I am officially a loyal customer and will return even if I move out of the neighborhood!
