Very impressed. My husband called me at work this morning and said, "my battery light just came on and I smell something burning, I'll call you back if I make it to work". Never a good phone call. Luckily he made it to his job where he parked the car, no engine fire thank goodness. The car would not start after he shut it off.
Being stuck at work without a running car he searched for a near-by mobile mechanic and found A&S. He left a message for Marty and he called back in just a few minutes.
He explained the situation over the phone and right away Marty had an idea of the problem. He gave us a price for the part and installation and said he could be there same day, at our location (awesome). I should make a quick note that during the summer heat he has some restrictions as it's very difficult to work in the sun on pavement so in the summer he would need a garage or shade at the very least (just a tip) but would prefer you go to him in the summer at his shop.
Anyway, he fixed our car. It was the alternator that went and it killed the battery too (we exchanged that and he installed it too).
He prefers cash (don't we all) but he'll take credit cards too for a slight fee (pretty common). Overall, we're very happy with his service, especially that he got to us the same day. He's also a friendly guy and that's always nice. Thanks Marty! We're rolling again and we've added your info. to our contacts for future car care.
