I'm just going to preface this by saying I'm incredibly afraid of needles and I was a nervous wreck when I came in to get my cartilage pierced (I know not even a scary piercing) but I had been putting off getting pierced for over a year and I finally decided to do it!! I was a walk in about 45 minutes till closing, but Kelly was ready immediately to work me in. He was extremely patient and assured me that my piercing wouldn't hurt, as did the entire staff of Enlightened Soul Tattoo where I found him, they're all super nice and funny people. I was still panicking while sitting in the chair that I almost jumped off and changed my mind, and Kelly was so quick that the first thing I said after he stuck the needle through was "oh". It was SO much easier and faster than I had expected, not to mention virtually painless. It's been about 7 hours since I got my first cartilage piercing and I've actually forgotten I have it a few times just because there's really no pain. I'm so glad I didn't chicken out!!!
