I had a groupon ($49) for a haircut and colour choice of roots, highlights, or ombré...went with the ombré. First, I ended up waiting 30min even though I was on time. Then the girl says its extra for hair past the shoulders. The fine print clearly states extra for longer than midback, which to me means to the bra line, which I the length I have. So I was basically forced to either pay 'around $20' extra or cut it shorter since they were basically quibbling over an extra inch or so. So ended up getting 4+ inches off instead of the intended 1.5 inches...so lame. Then they said the extra toner would be $20 but ended up being $25. And the special conditioning treatment is just a supposed fancy conditioner in place of regular conditioner. And they wouldn't show me it or tell me an actual brand name of it. The only reason the even get any stars is because the stylist did a great job actually, didn't catch her name but she said she was from Ireland. She was very nice about it despite having the chinciest boss on the planet. Maybe if a place like this is trying to drum up some business using tools like Groupon they should also consider not being totally cheap and having no string attached, tht might help.
