Not only is this a great place to chose from an excellent selection of both beer and wine (both domestic and foreign, and separated by varietal), but they are open on Sunday's, which makes it a great stop on the drive home on Mothers day. Also, as a home-brewer, they have a fairly decent selection of both equipment and ingredients. Not quite enough for me to use them exclusively, but if I'm in need of a quick piece of equipment, it sure is nice to be able to walk down the street. They do however keep their liquid yeast out in room temperature** (they used to have it in a refrigerator, not sure why they got rid of it), and they only carry white labs vials and no wyeast smack packs (in case you're looking for a specific strain, make sure you know if there is a white labs version available). They have also undergone a massive renovation and now have a porch on the front where they host wine tastings, and a series of taps built into the wall for us beer lovers to get our growlers filled. ** Edit: Liquid yeast is back in the refrigerator. They still have a fantastic beer and wine selection and a friendly and helpful staff.
