Moving is always a tough experience - I've moved cross country and overseas numerous times and I have to admit moving my home within the same city was the least favorable experience I have had. First the positives: They were responsive to my call and professional on the phone and scheduling. They followed up before my move to confirm their arrival. The truck driver called and confirmed prior to his arrival as well. Although the three man crew were professional in dealing with myself and my husband their packing lacked the expertise to protect our furniture throughout the move. It took them four hours to pack the house, most of which had been pre-packed by ourselves - kitchen was the only area they were responsible for actually packing boxes. They failed to pack everything - left pans in a cabinet, three drawers weren't packed, and they packed none of the rubbermaid shelving which they were told to pack everything from the cabinets identified. Their method of moving and only having one person move pieces that should have had two men working together to get up stairs and in the house caused issues - which we weren't made aware of until after their departure and we found damage to three pieces - and damage/scrapes to doors. It is unfortunate that their skills and care for the items that they are moving isn't equal to the professionalism that I received over the phone. Would I use them again or recommend them - maybe for an office move of boxes, but never for more personal belongings.
