Went to Alamo for the first time today with my wife and saw Wonder Woman. It was mostly a good experience and I have been to a few other Specialty Cinema's before and here is my thoughts.
Pro's. Very easy to get your tickets online.
The theater was very nice when you come in and the bar set up is right in the lobby.
The theater wasn't crowded which was very nice, but it was a 2:30pm showing.
The service once seated was very good and the waitress was very attentive. I
recommend you get there early so your not eating solely in the dark.
I highly recommend the Mexican Vanilla Shake. Delicious. My wife was happy with their
wine. My wife had their Chicken Nuggets and liked it a lot.
Cons. I had the Grilled Cheese and it was drowning in either Butter or oil. When you bit into
it, a gushing of oil came out. Horrible. So I don't recommend that. I did not complain
since the movie was on and just would not get that again.
The seating was nicely set up with a table in front, but in my opinion, the seating hurt
my back because they don't recline. A slight rocker, but it would have been great to
have recliners.
I would really give it 3 1/2 Stars. I will go back and try something different, but again, stay away from the Grilled Cheese.
