I placed a small helium balloon order with You Send Me for a baby shower I was hosting on a Sunday afternoon. I had a great experience, from start to finish. I initially dropped into the store and discussed my options with the sales representatives. I emailed the store a few days later with my order, and Barry got back to me right away. He was very helpful and responsive. I picked up the order late on a Friday afternoon, and was provided a bag to carry the balloons home in. They lasted until well after the party ended around 6PM on Sunday afternoon.
Be sure to ask for the special treatment they provide if you want the balloons to last for a few days; it costs 25 cents/balloon. And, although I didn't have any problems, I have heard that helium can do strange things in cold weather. Could be a myth, but be sure to double check with the store in the event that you plan to walk to your destination with them.
