While playing a little hooky last Friday, my partner recommended spending our afternoon here. We ordered a couple Sommersby ciders, the chicken sandwich, and a grilled cheese. All arrived promptly and fresh.
Nothing was wrong with our service or the food (average pub fare, maybe a little above because it was freshly made). The reason it gets 3 from me is 2 very specific personal preferences of mine.
1. I know it's a pub and people get schwasty faced in there 6-7 hours a day, but I was there at 2pm, and the bathroom is not a bathroom I should see at 2pm.
2. I appreciate that it's a very laid back place, but the waitresses all looked hungover or like they put on whatever was clean. I was in college not too long ago, I get it, but I don't like the idea of a girl in a cutout tank and messy hair and holes in her Toms serving my food.
These two aesthetic/olfactory reservations aside, it was fun. Nice patio, as already mentioned, I'll be back.
