We stopped at Brasserie V last night after a late afternoon movie. It had been a while since our last visit, probably over a year. There was an hour and a half wait but we were able to find a place at the bar and eventually decided to eat there.
The service was poor. The bartending staff did a poor job of watching the status of drinks so we waited for a while when our glasses were empty. The spots we secured at the bar had been occupied before us by diners. But the staff didn't remove old plates, glasses and utensils until we asked. And even then we had to ask them to wipe off the area.
The food was up to par. Moules and frites were good, salad with duck was good according to my wife.
Overall it wasn't bad but the poor service made it a somewhat disappointing visit
