I love the Great Lakes Science Center. Let's take a moment to recognize how lucky we are to even have a science center in our city. Let alone, one situated against the picturesque backdrop of North Coast Harbor. I've been coming to the GLSC for years. Yes, the exhibits gear mainly towards youth and children. But over the years, I've noticed a shift in their programming to do more for adults. I always attend their Yuri's Night party (which celebrates space exploration) and I love the new double feature movies in the DOME Theater. Last year, GLSC unveiled their new DOME Theater, which is the only laser-illuminated projection system and only theater of its kind in the United States. You can grab a beer and see super fun double features, like The Sandlot/A League of Their Own, Star Wars originals, and I saw Back to the Future there. It was a blast. Coming up this year they have Indiana Jones and Guardians of the Galaxy. You can also see some regular movies here, like the new Star Wars. I love GLSC and will continue to come back again and again. I really admire everything they are doing to stay fresh and engaging!
