I dig Aldi. I'm not embarrassed. I like saving money, and most things I've gotten from there have been pretty good. I buy cases of water from there all the time, $2.29! How can you beat that? Their cheese selection is actually impressive for how small the store is. Cheap havarti? I'm in. The produce is hit or miss. The veggies are never really that great or green, but sometimes their fruit is decent. Did I mention cheap? A box of 4 kiwis for 99 cents is a steal, even if you do have to toss one of them. Their candy selection is fun, nuts are less than half of what Giant Eagle charges, frozen veggies are way decent for the price. I certainly wouldn't do all of my shopping at Aldi. Even the Fit & Active brand they carry isn't really very healthy. But it's fun to save money and bag my own groceries once in a while.
