am a bit of a coffee snob ... got my Frenchie press and I got my own bean grinder that is like 25 plus years old ... and ... ahem .. i buy Intelligentsia coffee regularly ... no, that was my twin you saw buying the Kirkland Columbia beans at Costco ... i go to Starducks about once every three years when I am desperate ... anyway had a friend in town and she wanted to stop for a coffee and the name Rising came into my mind and we found our way to W. 29th w help of her smartphone ... was kind of impressed when we walked in ... my friend ordered something fancy schmanzy while i just ordered coffee ... Think mine was Peruvian, but I might be wrong ... so I got a lil half and half and ambled over to the long table by the back wall and sat while they finished her coffee chino or whatever it was ... so i took that first sip and the flavor was so, deep, so rich, so smooth ... man i thought might even be better than my Intelligentsia ... Fabulous, I'll be back ... My friend from Manhattan opined, "This is like a hipster coffee place you might find in Brooklyn..." I laughed, she old me to shut up, then she told me "I love Cleveland" ... well I do too and I love that we have Rising Star
