Beware BA flights Phoenix to London. Our flight delayed 5 hours, but previous day's flight delayed 24 hrs - we had to await repair of their broken aircraft while they took our aircraft - result two planes full of disgruntled passengers. No advance notification of flight delay until arrival at airport and poor communication until final boarding around midnight. Return Paris to London to Phoenix, no notice of French air traffic controllers strike on flight status - had to be aware of problem on own and check BA information tab on website - who knew. Return London to Phoenix, flight delayed due to flight crew still clearing security - ironic considering stern warnings to passengers regarding gate arrival. One week later, still awaiting baggage. One bag allegedly arrived in Phoenix 3 days ago, but no delivery notification as yet. Will probably have to drive down to retrieve, but BA's baggage office in Phoenix only open 4 pm to 8 pm. Per BA's website, must file claim tor baggage loss/damage within 7 days of flight - did that.
