KB Confections is the baker connected with the Music Box Supper Club (our venue), so a cake from them was included in our wedding package. Karen hosted a very nice tasting for us, in which we got to try different combinations of cake and frosting flavors, as well as some custom flavors. The sampling was tasty, but pales in comparison to the cake we actually had on our wedding day. "Cake" in the singular is technically inaccurate, as we had three different flavors inside of our cake, including a chocolate cookies and cream-frosted one as per my husband's request. If the fact that at the end of the night, there wasn't any cake left to take home (luckily, we had already set aside a slice of each flavor in case we didn't get to eat any at the reception) is any evidence, the guests enjoyed it as well. The bit that we did get to try, however, was incredible. Though we ultimately didn't order them for the wedding, we did get to sample some excellent Buckeyes. The use of this baker was required by our venue, but after seeing (and tasting!) what they do, we would hire them independent of that.
