I called to see schedule an appointment to see one of their doctors after suffering from a painful wrist injury only to be told they could not schedule me based on a reported unpaid PT bill from 2007! i personally visited the office to discuss with the office manager and to clear my record. I presented my letters from 2007 which clearly supported that this charge was in error. He apologized for the inconvenience and promised to investigate the bill. Correct response I thought. Then, the other staff member involved asked if I wanted to pay 50% of the charge ($284.00) in order to be able to schedule an appointment!!! Of course I refused as I demonstrated the charge is not valid, so why would I agree to pay half of it! I will certainly never recommend Orthocarolina based on this poor experience. One week later and I have not heard from a Business Manager as promised.
