The Grand Opening of its mega store Target was today. But I'm more excited about the Bulk Barn, Winners and Homesense that should be appearing here as well. Also on the list is Old Navy, Ardene, the children's place, Pier 1 Imports (opened), Michael's and Bouclair (opened by now too). There's also a Vitapath store that sells supplements. Finally the west end doesn't have to travel for away to the 427 and Queensway to get to these stores. It's pretty great except for the fact Keele and South of St Clair will be come even more congested. I suggest heading through the short cut of Home Depot and Cantire. There's also a slew of fast food restaurants like Thai Express, Teriyaki, Pita something, Menchies etc. What I don't get is why it's on the north end of the place far away from the rest of the shopping. Each has its own store area and seating area like it's a restaurant. The entire complex is a maze and seems like more suited if you what to go to a few specific stores rather than a nice all day shopping experience like say shops at don Mills. It's not friendly to wandering, and the layout is a bit strange with parking smack dab in the middle and stores all around it. You won't see what they area from the parking lot but that's not the point. I'm looking forward to frequenting the place but would imagine in a few weeks parking won't be so easy to come by. There is also a Second Cup (lots of seating) in the food area and a Starbucks inside the target (not really for long stays) that doesn't take your Rewards Card.
