My wife and I were staying at the Palazzo and wanted to get lunch away from the busiest part of the Strip. We heard that the Peppermill was a great place to go, so we decided to check it out. There was about a twenty minute wait, so we went outside and walked around for a while. When we got back, there was only one table ahead of us and we were seated shortly after. The decor of the restaurant is truly unique. It felt like we were at a special event. That feeling was supported by the fact that someone was walking around taking commemorative pictures for each table. The menu was quite extensive and everything looked enticing. To help with our decision making, we looked around the restaurant at what order people had ordered. This did not help in the slightest as all of the food looked delicious and the portions were colossal. We ultimately chose an order of buffalo wings, gyros, onions rings, and three fried eggs. All of the food was really tasty. The wings were gigantic and had the perfect amount of heat to them. The gyro meat was flavorful and the pita bread was nicely toasted. The onion rings were piping hot and not greasy. Even though we were really hungry, we were still unable to eat all of our food due to the large portion size. While the food, service, and ambience were top notch, I am going to deduct a star for not accepting credit cards. Las Vegas isn't some small town in the middle of nowhere. There is no excuse to be cash only in 2017. We would have ordered drinks too if I wasn't capped by the cash in my wallet. Overall though, the Peppermill is a great place to eat and is well worth the trip to the north of the Strip.
