The customer service at Hampton Inn Charlotte-Uptown truly sets it above most of the surrounding Uptown hotels. Every employee with whom I interacted was cheerful, informed, and exceptionally helpful. I had several strange requests, for privacy purposes, which were quickly and easily accommodated, while other hotels had argued with me over their "policies." For example, Hampton Inn staff allowed me to pay with cash and leave no debit card on file without requiring that I meet with a manager to work out a way to pay for "incidentals." Rather, the front desk attendant was warm and efficient, and even got mr a better rate than I expected. Hampton Inn Charlotte-Uptown had extremely comfortable beds, and since hotels are first and foremost for sleeping, I was pleased. The hotel is conveniently located in Uptown, near the Epicenter and other dining establishments. The business center met my needs, although you have to go to the front desk to fax. Overall, a quality hotel with memorable customer service.
