I think this place is past its prime. I have been here several times, and my last visit reminded me that there are much better places to get gelato in the city and that it is not worth coming back to. I was with 2 friends, and we each had our gelato in a different kind of cone. They were all very stale and tasted horrible, ruining the experience. I found the texture of the gelato to be a bit gritty, and not natural tasting at all. One of the three large freezers was completely empty, which was a bit strange. I didn't even finish my cone. This place must be relying on its history and reputation, as quality is not being maintained.
