I dropped in here tonight to get a pair of glasses. I hadn't had any luck in other stores, and was somewhat surprised at the subpar customer services at a number of 'boutique' outlets in Toronto. I haven't shopped for glasses in a number of years, so I need some help and points when I'm there.
Minh Chau does just that. I walked in, very friendly greeting, enthusiastic (without being pandering) customer service. And he zeroed in on exactly the look I (somewhat secretly) wanted the whole time. In the future I'll spend some more time going for higher-end, lighter-frame specs. But for this pair, this is what I wanted and they did the trick.
The customer service was incredibly gracious. I was so happy when I left.
I also needed my frames in less than 48 hours b/c I'm leaving the country for a few months. They promised me that could happen.
And that was the beautiful moment this browser became a buyer.
