As a sushi fan on a budget, this place hit the spot. Attentive but not overbearing staff turn out plates of sushi faster than you can fill your sake cup. Pages of special rolls that go beyond the typical Philly Roll and Spider Roll.
We ordered the Bonsai Dinner which included:
*2 Special Rolls - Thumbs up for the Widow and Kamikaze Roll (smoked salmon? heavenly.)
*TEN! pieces of Nigiri- no substitutions from the menu but the chef gave us top notch fishies
*Seaweed Salad
Along with a large Asahi and hot sake our bill was under $60. A much better deal than the ever increasing prices of All-You-Can-Eat on every corner of this sinful city.
