OK, here we go! I've heard about Thee Pitts Again over 10 years ago, either from Kim & Don of "Dial to Dine" or "Culinary Confessions", both on the radio. I don't live anywhere near there, also it hasn't been on the way to anywhere I go, so I haven't been there til today. Reading the Yelp reviews helped A LOT! Thank you for the heads up as to what to eat, what it would look like and not to have my expectations up. We were meeting with our tax accountant and the place had been set. Ahead of time, he was very happy, having been there several times. (That's a GREAT sign.) So, we were greeted warmly and immediately. It was almost noon, on a Tuesday. We were just about the only ones there. Well, everything went well! Thanks to other reviewers, we knew to order the pulled pork (and that there would only be one bbq sauce). The side I chose was Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. I really enjoyed it all. Yes, I added more sauce to the pork, but I always do at bbq places. Cornbread, yes, dry, but the honey butter was perfect for it. I think cornbread is almost always dry, so I really can't hold that against them. The meal was served in good time too. Both eating partners were very happy with their meal (pulled pork and the "batter" fries). Honestly, it was quite a satisfying lunch and the server was pleasant and attentive. If it was in our area, I'd go back.
