First, I will start off with a tip. This restaurant now takes reservations. I would highly recommend for a Friday or Saturday night to call the week of and make one. We tried walking in on a whim twice and the wait was almost an hour. We went on a Thursday night with reservations but found it wasn't necessary for a week night because there were many open two tops (but rather be safe than sorry)! The restaurant is surprisingly small on the inside. Cute but small. All two tops are on your right and bar on the left as you walk in down the aisle. The back has maybe 4 or 5 tables that could sit more then 4 but not more than 6 people. Our waiter was super cool and laid back. Any waiter that goes over the menu with you is cool in my book. As recommended, we started out with the gator. It was a seasonal appetizer and we are happy we got to try it. It literally looks like a hot pocket but filled with gator meat. It was very good (warm and tasteful). The appetizer was small. Between my husband and I, we had one and a half each. As for the entrees, they have a descent sized selection of both raw and cooked meals. We got the platter for two which included shrimp, crab meat, and oysters. It was fast and quick service, I think we received the entree after ordering in less then 15 minutes (but it is raw so not too much to do except presentation). It was all delicious and very fresh, however, it did not fill us up. So, we continued our venture with their boucherie platter. It says right on the menu its a cajun styled charcouterie board-YUMM. Now that filled us up! It was filled with smoked salmon, tuna, pickled vegetables. It was delicious. Our bill was pricey but expected from a restaurant that serves fish. I would definitely recommend!
