These people know their [athletic] shoes! I adore Sole Sports. I originally bought a pair of shoes here about a year ago on the stern suggestion of one of my gym's trainers. Just by looking at the bottom of my then-gym shoes she instructed me to buy a new pair and not come back until doing so. Naturally I took the next day to go to the store and see what I could find.
I have awkward feet [wide flat high-instep] that can make it difficult to find good-fitting, comfortable gym shoes. I only had to try on a few pairs before finding the winner in 2016. I wore them to my next session and felt they were a little too big for my feet. Luckily though I work near another Sole Sports in Scottsdale and was able to exchange for a smaller size.
So come to last week when I was instructed again by same instructor to get a new pair of gym shoes. Since they keep customer information, I was in and out of this Tempe location in 30 minutes. I literally went straight from the gym and pointed to my Asics shoes upon arrival and let the rep know I wanted the same pair but newer. Within a few minutes he brought out the new styles and I was able to get an updated pair for about what I paid a year ago. I didn't need long to walk around the store to determine which size would work.
Since I was a returning customer I received 10% off my bill. Yes good shoes can be expensive, but if you care about your feet and not hurting yourself when working out, the money is totally worth the investment. I love my Asics and the care the Sole staff give to ensure a good pair of shoes leave their store on your feet!
