Why didn't anyone inform me it was possible on a Friday night to purchase my movie ticket, make a trip to the washroom, get my popcorn and grab a great seat within 1/2 an hour for a newly released movie to begin? No gimmicks. We bought (our tix), we squatted (hell no - I don't sit on public toilets), we grabbed (free popcorn - I have an AMC Movie Watcher card) and we sat (in one of the many good rows available in the theatre). No need to butt in any line ups and no need to take turns for pit stops in order to reserve our seats. So now I'm sold! I declare AMC 24 at Yonge & Dundas my one and only Tdot downtown movie theatre!!! This cinema may not have brand name fast food and the screens may be a tad smaller than you expect, but at least I can do whatever I damn well please before watching a movie without rushing to make sure I get a good seat. Which means more time to shop across the street at the Eaton Centre plus faster travel time as this AMC is off the subway line.
