Ever try their tech support chat? First, they've a script that has them gushing with happy that, amazing that, and just sugary sweet phrases that I doubt anybody uses in real life. When all I want is tech help, all this excess fluff is rude. Second, they say they're live, but I've transcripts from tech chat, and if they aren't bots, they are some of the most scripted people ever. You can try their chat a dozen times, and get verbatim answers. This last incident was unbelievable. Here's a sample of it: Miles M.: James. at this moment that we did the process of troubleshooting and solve the issue and please let me know if there is anything i can i do for you today? James: You haven't solved the problem! You haven't done anything!! James: It's like I'm talking to a poorly programmed chat bot. Miles M.: James. thanks for letting mke now. Miles M.: James, you are speaking with a person of support. James: Then how have you missed everything I've said? Miles M.: in this case, I will need to reboot your cable box. James: That's been done. Miles M.: James. there are som many signals to sent to your cable box. James: I'm ending this call. I've a transcript, and you are incompetent.
