Local Beer with a Laid-Back Attitude.
The first time my husband and I walked into the Bottlehouse Brewery for a Sunday afternoon pint, we knew that we had found OUR bar! If I were to design a bar for my own enjoyment it would share all of the following charactaristics with Bottlehouse:
- All of the beer is brewed on site - and every one is excellent.
- The food on offer is good - by bar food standards - but they 100% don't care if you want to pick up some take-out from Anatolia and chow down while you swig a brew.
- That relaxed atmosphere is such that people regularly dance spontaneously or take to the stage for unplanned open mic.
- The trivia night with Forrest City Trivia is the best in town! Bonus: BOARD GAME night!
I've refrained from mentioning the neat-o fact that the Bottlehouse is your only local meadery. Even if mead isn't your thing, it's darn cool. I am happy to have the Bottlehouse as my local brewpub!
