The used car salesman, Colby, began by boasting about his accolades. We told him our budget and situation up front. At first he was all smiles, then showed us a car way over our price range, refusing to tell us the price while we checked it out, and then tried to get me to finance well over my budget, when I had made it clear we were not going to finance through them. He basically told me I was stupid if I didn't finance through them. He then started using scare tactics, telling me that I would have my license suspended if I didn't sell my secondary vehicle, with old tags that is sitting (not being driven) to them and buy this new car. It is not illegal to own a vehicle with expired tags, it's illegal to drive it, which I do not. He did not know that I am a law major and my wife comes from a family of attorneys specializing in motor accident lawsuits. Instead of telling us to have a nice day "sorry we couldn't work out a deal", he goes out of the room and comes back with a piece of paper telling us to leave. He didn't say a word to us. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and taking my business elsewhere.
