Stay away from this builder! They lie! We were so happy about our new home and paid a hefty lot premium. We were excited to build our dream backyard on this sizable lot we purchased. Before buying it, we confirmed with Meritage that there would not be a two story behind us. They told us that the plot plans would not allow a two story home behind us. Well, we now have the entire side of a two story home in our backyard! This is not normal. Now we have to spend a ton of money just to get our privacy back! We literally have to build a structure as the neighbors can see every square inch of our backyard. Now only a portion of it will be usable. Trees wont block this view, not even a little. Their windows practically sit on the property line! No response from Meritage. They quit responding to your needs after you have given them good reviews. They are worse than car salesmen! We bought a home at Camino A Lago in Peoria!
