We wanted to like this Petsmart, and for the most part we do because of Banfield. The truth is however, if it weren't for coming in for the Banfield wellness plan, we would never come to this Petsmart. It's pretty much a big warehouse, and while it does have a bunch of stock, it just seems a bit run down and impersonal. We also have had a few bad experiences in the short time we have been going here. The first was when we wanted to buy our brand new adopted dog a collar. We found one we loved, and walked over to the register with our like 50 dollars worth of other items. She gets to the collar, scans it, and says oh it's a penny...we can't sell this to you, it's no longer available. We said yeah, but it's on the shelf, you can't just put a price on it? It said 10.99 on the shelf, we're willing to pay that. She just said no, I can't. And seemed pretty disinterested. The second was for pet grooming. We got our dogs nails ground down at their grooming area, and unfortunately we just got a very bad vibe. The girl that did it seemed completely uninterested, and didn't seem to like animals all that much. Maybe she was overworked, or just hated her job, but we didn't feel comfortable at all watching our new dog struggling to resist and her just staring into the distance like FML. We won't bring her back here, that's for sure. We love the Petco that's less than a mile away, so next time we will be bringing her there. The prices also seem to be very similar if not more expensive than Petco, so from now on we are doing our dog shopping there. Although we can't help spending money here because we do bring our dog in for a vet visit, then want to pick up some treats, toys, etc. To be clear, this isn't a review for the Banfield here, which I would give a much higher rating to.
