They moved my elderly parents from Hudson to Perrysburg (outside of Toledo) and somehow damaged almost every single piece of furniture they owned. Some of the damage was beyond repair. I sent a stereo my parent's purchased in 1957 with the manager because he assured me it could be repaired by a company they used in Akron. 4 months later it was returned (after many phone calls) and the beautifully lacquered piece of furniture that left here was now partially lacquered and partially polyurethaned. It looks awful. It might have been better to leave it the way it was. This particular piece of furniture has been moved 10 times (twice across country) without a single scratch on it. But Move it Now managed to destroy every single surface on it and then couldn't repair it correctly. I am weary of fighting with them and I strongly recommend passing on Move It Now as they are slow to respond, unprofessional and terrible movers from beginning to end. My parents are sad that their prized possessions were treated so poorly. They have decided that what's done is done but every time I go to see them (twice a month) I have to look at the dresser my 87 year old Dad has had since he was 16 and see the stain runs down the front of it from Move It Now's repairs. I get physically sick to my stomach because I recommended this company to my elderly parents for their move. So sad. If you value your property Move with another company.
