Decided to do go kart racing for my friend's birthday. It's pricey but luckily he got a special rate for his b-day. They told us it was going to be a 2 hour wait due to a birthday party, but it was maybe 45 minutes. There were 4 of us on the track together and I came in 4th place. My best time was lap 9 of 14. I got progressively quicker for laps 1-9. I think I would have liked some practice laps to get familiar with the track. I am having some unexpected soreness the day after. While I am glad we went (we've been talking about it for years), I don't have a strong desire to return.
