Tried this place out with a Groupon and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. As never having done archery before..except for that one time in gym waaaaay back in high school, I was excited to get my Katniss on!
The instructor we had (I can't remember his name) was really nice and funny and made the experience interesting and fun. We went through safety instructions and correct positioning of the body, which I learned are way more important that trying to figure out how to it the target. In fact with correct body positioning you will hit the target every time. Since there were 10 of us in the group was very sure to watch all of us to make sure we had our bodies adjusted right and would come over and provide instruction to help us correct out our form. His tips definitely helped me hit the target more than I ever thought I could!
This is a great experience for someone who wants to try something new and different. They do offer classes so you can perfect your poise and aim, which I think is great!
My advice to you is to try it out with Groupon, but also get a Groupon deal for a massage as well, because the next day your arm and upper back will FEEL it! But that just means you must have been doing something right!
