To me first impressions are very important, but so are second impressions... When I walked in to check in I was promptly helped with a smile, great first impression. After being checked in I went to the second desk to get my parking pass, an overly friendly woman created me asked about my plans and stuff like that. As soon as I got a chance to say something I told her "I have zero intentions to go to the presentation" she pushed it like 3 times and kept on telling me things like this "all of the material we send to you like email and booklets is generic. This is the information you need to be informed" if that's really the case, why on earth do I get so much mail from this guy's and why do I bother reading it? When I declined for a third time she became overly angry, threw my pass and room keys on the desk and turned around... Not even have a good stay??? Definitely a very bad second impression. The amenities are nice. The room is average. This is probably the first time I stay at a hotel without extra pillows or blankets...
