Had a craving for brioche so I walked in to see if they sold it. I bought a loaf (around 7/8 dollars, I don't remember exactly). The outside looked dark, as if overcooked. I sliced it up when I got home and: - the outside was indeed overcooked and a bit hard, unlike everything brioche should be. - the texture of the brioche was good but it wasn't sweet. Traditional brioche is slightly sweet. I was tempted to grab a pastry as well but based on the high price point and the small size, I decided to try the brioche first and I'm kinda glad I did. While everything looks tasty, the price range is a bit of a turnoff for me, especially considering the size of the pastries and if I'm going to be paying 6 dollars for a fancy croissant, I expect the taste to live up to the price but after that brioche, I'm not sure I want to give it a try.
