Here is the thing: Sprinkles ice cream was hyped up so much to me before the visit so I was quite excited to arrive here. Sprinkles is a good place to go when you are craving sweets and is in the vicinity, but I personally would not go out of my way to go to them. To be sure, the cupcake ATM was way cool, and the red velvet waffle cone was novel and quite alright. The ice creams, while having a slightly better-than-average texture, were cloyingly sweet. They have these fun things you can do with the ice cream (i.e. cupcakes with the ice cream), but I had to opt not to do so because it seemed as if doing so would be sugar overkill. The cupcakes were delicious and sweet, but adding the cloyingly sweet ice cream on top of that was too much even for my sweet tooth. Had they been a little cheaper, I would give them a 4-star rating. But as it is, if you want good desserts, you would probably do better to go elsewhere. But if you were in the area, you should definitely check them out. I know I would.
