I'm eating my Ohya leftovers and plotting how soon I can return! I had a real ***** experience here, even though I was (a) alone except for my ebook, and (b) using a Local Flavor voucher. I treated myself to the garlic edamame (you need these, trust me), the otoshi salad (a junior poke bowl with fried fish skin strips 'n lots of seafood, I loved it), and the hamachi kama, which was on my foodie bucket list (I have no idea how most people eat it, but I sucked mine so clean I doubt my cat could have done better). A true grazing meal that added up to real satisfaction. The restaurant itself I would describe as upscale sports bar with decor anchored by a huge "pink blossom" tree in the middle. Attractive, IMO. It was neither too noisy nor too quiet, too bright nor too dark--just about right. Best of all, the service was attentive without overdoing it. Ohya would be a great place to take a date, family or group, or, as in my case, all by yourself. Yes, I'll be back soon.
