I had to be in Westlake for the week for work, and this was the recommended hotel. The staff was really great, and rooms were spacious and comfortable. My only big complaint is that it was a little dated. Even fresh paint would be an improvement... Updating the furniture and appliances (especially microwaves) would go a long way.
Here are a few additional comments:
-Continental breakfast was decent. They had a variety of bagels, English muffins, biscuits, bread, fruits, yogurts and juices, plus some buffet style hot options (eggs, gravy, potatoes, sausages, oatmeal). Or you could makes waffles.
- Also offered some evening events (Monday through Wednesday last week), with drinks and food.
- Water temperature was a little unpredictable. Sometimes the shower would get cold, sometimes it would be scalding hot.
- Room was a little noisy... Seemed like the room above me rearranged their furniture every night, and I could hear the water running from the neighboring rooms.
- The room I was in had the same picture on the wall two places. Who does that?
- They provided a couple lists of restaurants and delivery in the area, as well as some suggestions for things to do.
Overall, it seems like there may be several businesses in the area that support this hotel, and the hotel does a great job of welcoming those guests. I would stay here again if I was in the area for business, but probably not if I was traveling for pleasure,
