Stopped in to grab candy and a drink. When I went up to pay, the gas station attendant didn't even say anything to me. Now I'm not expecting 5 star service...but it was really odd for her to not say anything, not a single word to me at all. Even after I said hello to her and asked her how she was doing. After she rings me up she finally says to me, "Cash or Debit?" I asked if they accepted credit card and she says, "Cash or Debit only." Alright whatever, I whip out my debit card and notice a fee tacked onto my total. I asked about the fee and she says debit card fee. I ask her why there is a debit card fee just because I thought it was strange, she just shrugs again. At this point I'm just really irritated and before I take my stuff to leave I tell her to have a nice day because my mama raised me right annnnnnd again she doesn't even say anything back to me. I would usually at this point just assume maybe the worker wasn't a people person. However, when I leave, she starts to help the next customer AND she greets him and asks him how he is doing...SERIOUSLY?! Usually I pay no mind to what type of service I'm getting at a gas station but this was such a strange and off putting experience.
