So this is the second year for the PIcklesburgh celebration and I am thrilled. I volunteered last year one day and attended another which is what I am doing this weekend for the second year it's been in operation. I absolutely adore this festival and the idea behind it which is why I volunteer. I just can't believe this isn't something that has been going on for decades. I love the different pickle vendors from the region. There are so many takes on the pickle at this event. Pickle cocktails, lemonade, pickles on a stick and of course homemade jarred pickles. Let's not forget the amazing and gigantic pickle balloon that takes over the 9th Street Bridge (aka Rachel Carson Bridge). Make this event part of your summer fun.
