With no shortage of breakfast locations along Camelback, any new place has to really be impressive. Well, Elly's is! Elly's is tucked back in the corner of the Uptown Plaza on Central and Camelback (near Lou Malnatis & Creamistry). Don't let the size fool you, there is actually a lot of space inside and we have never waited more than 15 minutes for a table. The menu is fairly extensive and includes pancakes, waffles, omelettes, frittatas, sandwiches and salads. There is also a coffee/tea bar with lots of delish options. I've had the morning omelette (pictured) and the corned beef hash, both of which were phenomenal! I would say the corned beef hash was the best thing I have had. They have gluten free options as well, the pancakes were great! Someone else at our table had a frittata (also pictured) and said it was really good as well. What's even better, Elly's is one of the cheaper breakfast spots in the neighborhood and the staff is terrific! Definitely would recommend Elly's.
