I have been a vegetarian my whole life, and sometimes going out for dinner is a little bit of a struggle choosing something. I'm so happy to have Green Owl Cafe in Madison for this reason! It's so nice to find a place I can order anything off the menu and not worry if there is bacon in the salad or if the soups are made out of chicken or meat broth.
My favorite foods I have tried at Green Owl so far are their Dare Devil wings, which are their version of spicy hot wings. It comes with vegan ranch which is a delicious combo with their wings. Also their peanut noodle bowl is delicious and amazing. I devoured it in minutes and left me quite satisfied. The Madison Philly is amazing and it has a great taste as well! The sand which also comes with a side!
There are only 2 things that are stopping me from giving Green Owl Cafe 5 stars. First, it is the lack of available parking which can be somewhat of an annoyance especially when you are starving. Also the service can be somewhat spotty and not consistent.
