My point of contact kept changing throughout the move, so any note or update about anything I called about was \"lost.\" I was charged an additional $100 from the storage place they picked my stuff up because the movers left trash, their moving supplies like dollies and packing material, and cigarette butts inside the unit, all witnessed and documented by the facility manager. He was going to waive that fee for me but I felt so horrible, especially since I couldn't be there, because I had to be moved since my job was about to begin and they had already postponed my pickup date four times over two weeks at that point. They held onto my stuff for over two months after picking it up and charged me storage fees, which I never wanted because why would I need that if I moving right then? By the time they finally arrived, I was so over it I just wanted them to put the stuff in my new place and leave. That was a bad call on my part I admit because several boxes with much of my military career items were missing, as well as a rug, all of which was on the documentation slips showing it was packed and shipped. Lastly, I have never experienced customer service like this. No matter what the subject or issue was, it was never their fault, but mine because they never had any records of any of the prior calls I made or emails I sent, yet I had all the emails chains (with their responses to each individual email) and they would at time reference things made during previous phone calls. Their drivers even admitted their customer service reps would do this because they would fail to give them updates on deliveries and pickups.
