I spent years working in restaurants, and I couldn't believe the lack of preparedness and handling of the event. There weren't servers specifically assigned to the room, and getting service in the room was difficult! It took more than 30 minutes to get a Pepsi, and it took an hour and a half to get food for the room. The servers in our room were also serving in the main dining room, so they were hardly around. Our party was about 70 people! An event like that should have people assigned to the banquet room attending to the party. What horrible management. I had to go get my own high chair (after waiting 30 minutes). I had to go beg for my toddler's food. She was the last one they served in the room--it was 9:00!!! I had to go track down kids menus for whole room because no one brought us any. There weren't enough adult menus in our room either. We had to pass them around and share. Seriously, it's like the establishment forgot we were coming. When I tried to order my food off the menu, the server told me that I shouldn't order it. I ended up ordering enchiladas. They were gross. The food was bland and the texture was stiff. I had to cut my enchiladas with a knife. Perhaps they were overcooked. My husband and I love Mexican food, and he hated his food too. At the different times of the night when I was walking around trying to get things like menus and high chairs, a couple people asked me if I was the manager! HA! I'm guessing there wasn't a manager in the whole place. When I was trying to resolve the toddler food issue, I went up to the hostess to ask for help since our servers were nowhere. She seemed about 15 and wondered around like she didn't know what was going on. She never came back. Finally, a friend from the party came to tell me the toddler food had been delivered. My night was so miserable. My toddler sobbed the whole way home, and I was pretty close myself. I would never ever recommend to my worst enemy to host an event at this horrible place--and I wouldn't recommend going to dinner here either since the food and service were terrible. I sat with an empty drink for most of the night also, since they never offered to refill my Pepsi (that took 30 minutes to receive in the first place). So perhaps this would be a good restaurant for you if you are fasting or anorexic. It was a nightmare for a family who actually wanted to eat good food at a reasonable hour! My friend kept apologizing (and I was horrified that she even noticed there was a problem). She should have had a perfect night, and I'm sure many other restaurants could have delivered a much better experience."^^ . "1"^^ . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . . "2017-11-10T00:00:00"^^ .
