"This place is actually surprisingly delicious and may be one of my new favorite chains in Pittsburgh.\n\n****\n\nWe were craving a huge meal after a long day of Outlet Shopping before the holidays and we decided on Red Lobster. It's hard to beat those cheesy puffs things. I can hit a whole basketful easily in one sitting.\n\nApparently half of Pittsburgh was craving those same puffs. There was a waitlist for up to an hour. The T family never waits for food - so we decided to go to Bahama Breeze.\n\nWe grabbed a takeout menu and scanned it quickly. The prices seemed right as did the selection. We went for it. \n\nAnd I can easily say that Bahamaa Breeze brought it. I was extremely satisfied with my almond coated tilapia fish dish, paired with garlic mashed potatotes, and thin green beans. The fish was fresh and buttery - and I almost felt like I was back in SF for a moment - the flavor was so distinct and delicious.\n\nThe rest of our party - was just as happy with their meal choices - finding the portions huge, and the quality and flavor - robust.\n\nI have to dock a star though for the creme caramel cheescake, which I expected to be a stand-out. Especially since it was touted as being a Bahama Breeze special. It was grossly disappointing for it's off taste - and pricey for six dollars. I found myself doing something - which i NEVER do at a table. \n\nI let everybody else finish it, while I just watched. \n\nBut sometimes - you just can't have it all - and I'd like to think that Bahama Breeze is capable of whipping up a quality desert - and I just happened to order the wrong one."^^ .
