"I've been going to united auto glass for many years, they have done atleast 12 vehicles for me personally not to mention the referrals I've sent.About 2 weeks ago I brought in a Mercedes to get the windows done. Everything in the car worked before tint, After the 2 day waiting period I tried to use my passenger front window and it didn't work, then checked the power seat and it didn't work. As soon as I found out I called Helen and left a message. No return call so I called a couple days later and left a message with Chris and still no call back. Finally I emailed so I could have record of my issue and then Helen called me back and wanted me to go to her friend that owned a bodyshop/mechanic which I've never heard of a shop doing both. I wanted the dealer to look at it. The door control module got ruined from the water from tinting. Helen said she would take care of it and text when a \"new\" module came in. It's from a recycling yard. I told her I didn't want a used one going in my low mileage car. Her response was she was going to replace a used module with a used one. I'm not sure how you break someone's car then decide to get a used part to replace it. The used part has scratches where mine was perfect. If she knew it wasn't their fault why replace it with a used one?Helen refuses to fix it with a new part but I promise if it were her car she would want new. I'll post pics of our conversation and decide if you want to go there. I can promise I will never bring a car back unless she gets the new part from the dealer. \n\nAs to her response if any of the doors electronics were to fail it would be the driver front not the passenger front. The previous owner was a widowed elderly woman so your logic doesn't make sence. Also the used door module you gave me as a 'replacement 'is acting up so I will need another soon. Anyone that knows anything about Mercedes knows they don't have the same door control module which was ridiculous to say. The w220 model which I have has sensitive door electronics but I'm sure you know that since you have tinted 1000s of them and you would also know that the windows should be dry tinted. In a wet environment you don't leave your door open for the inside to get wet. That's probably one of the dumbest excuses I've heard. If you didn't think you were at fault why would you offer to replace it? The only reason you bought a used one was because you seen the price of the new one. After all the money I've spent there, my family and friends also you should have done the right thing. I guess the next step is small claims court. It's your choice"^^ .
