"My boyfriend and I have been bringing our pups to The Dog Salon for a little over a year now on a pretty regular basis (the puppies get their hair down more often than I do!) for full grooms because both of them have fast growing hair. It's important to mention that I have a rescue who as a rule, hates almost everyone and has severe trust issues. The Dog Salon has been great at making my baby girl feel comfortable. They always pair her with the same stylist, and the two of them have formed a bond. The consideration they take in working with dogs who have \"issues\" is beyond compare. I've walked in to pick up the dogs before and my little one was being carried around on the stylist's shoulder, apparently she had been up there off and on the whole day, getting all kinds of lovin' and NOT sitting in a crate all day, reliving her traumatic past life. \n\nYou cannot knock the amount of love and compassion these folks have for dogs. However, I will say that they are a bit disorganized on the business end. They have somehow mistyped my number into their system on 3 separate occasions, despite reading it back to me correctly before I left. On one occasion, when scheduling appointments for both my boyfriend's dog and my own, they must have only written down his dog on the books, despite confirming both puppies appointments via email. That being said, they STILL managed to get my pup in with her regular stylist that day and we were able to pick the dogs up together at close. While I think the business-end of things could use some work, you can't beat the reasonable prices, the affectionate care the puppies get, and the joy of not having to wash your dog in the kitchen sink."^^ . .
