"Did not like my experience at Nails Time - I do appreciate that they were open on Canada Day, but the customer service was lackluster and the actual service I got was poor quality (shellac manicure and regular pedicure). \n\nFor the pedicure, I found that the woman doing my nails wasn't thorough at all - she barely shaped and buffed the nails, and only put one coat of coloured polish on before escorting me to another chair to get my manicure down. I asked the man doing my manicure if she would be coming back to finish the pedicure with a second coat of polish, and a top coat, and he said no, they just do one coat. Weird, but whatever, the colour looked good. Then after I left the appointment my friend said she got two coats of polish plus a top coat. It also looked like a polish job I could have easily done myself. \n\nFor the manicure, the guy was really nice, but shaped my nails weirdly, into thin ovals that made my nails look like misshapen carrots when I had asked for a square shape. I've never had this before, and I hate how it looks. The length was uneven, as was the shellac application, and it left spiky ridges on certain nails. \n\nThe only good thing about this place was 1) open on holidays, and 2) I liked that they offered hot towels for your legs and hands with your mani/pedi and they also had some hot stones for the pedicure which was nice. My advice to them would be to cut out all the hot towels/exfoliating and focus more on the basics of a pedicure. \n\nMy friend liked her experience, so maybe it depends on who you get, but I won't go back."^^ . .
