We went early so there wasn't much of a crowd. But the complimentary Valet service was still a plus in the below-zero weather. The service was attentive. Prices are not cheap but it was worth it. Portion sizes are reasonable. \n\nWe started out with the cheese plate appetizer. But honestly, the complimentary bread with salted butter and soft, house-made goat cheese was delicious -- better than the cheese plate. They offered apple butter, fig spread and some type of compote to accompany the cheeses. \n\nFor entrees, we got the Strozzapretti and the Long Island Duck. I'm a vegetarian and the waiter recommended the strozzapretti pasta, which was amazing. My taste buds were spoiled for the rest of the night. It was dressed in a flavorful, parmesan butter sauce. The only complaint I had was that the ricotta was too mild for the dish so I added some of the goat cheese that came with the free bread. My BF was pleased with his meal and but gave it 4/5 stars. \n\nAll the desserts looked great. We chose the milk sponge cake with mascarpone cream and ice cream. The sponge texture was a little too hard, but the other components were excellent. \n\nOverall, it was delicious. I plan to go back for lunch, which is much cheaper."^^ . . "2016-02-15T00:00:00"^^ .
